A12 and A145, near Blythburgh, sees closure following two-vehicle crash as one person taken to hospital

One person was taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash off the A12.

Police were called to reports of the collision on the B1123, near Blythburgh, just after 8.30am.

The ambulance service and fire crews were also at the scene.

One person was injured and taken to the Ipswich Hospital, but the injuries were not thought to be life-changing.

The A12 and the A145 was blocked both ways.

According to a police spokesperson, the road is expected to be reopened soon.

Recovery is at the scene.
