Large amount of jewellery stolen during burglary at Oliver & J Jewellers, in Blyburgate, Beccles

A large quantity of jewellery was stolen during a shop burglary in the early hours.

Police were called to Oliver & J Jewellers, in Blyburgate, Beccles, at 1.30am to reports of a burglary in progress.

Two males are reported to have forced entry to the store, which activated the burglar alarm, and stole a large amount of jewellery.

The thieves are believed to have then left the scene in a vehicle.

Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious at the time of the incident is urged to contact East CID at Suffolk Police on 101, quoting crime reference 37/71316/24.
