Crash on Beccles' Coney Hill sees police hunt for hit and run driver

A woman was seen fleeing the scene of a two-car crash in Beccles last week.

A green Ford Fiesta collided with a black Vauxhall Antara on Coney Hill at around 5.30pm on Friday.

A Suffolk Police spokesman said no one was hurt.

Police are also investigating claims that the Vauxhall Antara was stolen from St Geroge's Road in the town just 30 minutes before the crash.

Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 293 for the crash and reference 37/25139/21 for the theft.
