St Peter's Church on the Green in Palgrave targeted as harvest festival items set to be donated to food banks stolen




Witnesses are being asked to come forward after items which were set to be donated to food banks were stolen from a church in Palgrave, near Diss.

A burglar entered St Peter's Church on the Green in the village some time between 3pm and 9pm on Sunday and stole a large quantity of food items.

They had been collected for the community's harvest festival and were going to be donated to local food banks.

Police are appealing for information following the incident, and want to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the burglary or seen any suspicious activity at the time.

Those with information should contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference 37/53876/21.
