Cigarettes and alcohol stolen during break-ins at Co-op stores in Beccles and Walberswick
Police have launched an investigation after cigarettes and alcohol were taken during break-ins at two stores.
The Co-op in Swines Green, Beccles, was broken into at around 1.55am today, with entry having been gained by smashing the glass door.
Those responsible took a number of items, including cigarettes, before leaving in a dark coloured car.
Another burglary was reported to police at 2.40am after the alarm at the Co-op in Walberswick was set off.
Cigarettes and alcohol were taken and the tills at the store were also forced open.
The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
Witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting reference 37/13934/21 for the first incident and 37/13933/21 for the second.
