Police searching for missing Sarah Cook, of Beccles, discover a body

Police who have been searching for a missing Suffolk woman have discovered a body.

Sarah Cook, 59, from Beccles, was last seen in the town at around 6.30pm yesterday.

The body was found shortly before 10.30am today.

While the body has not been formally identified, the family of Sarah Cook have been informed.

The death is being treated as unexplained at this time, but the police do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances.

A file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
