A144 Halesworth crash victim named as Holton dad Ben Doughty
Tributes have been paid to a 'kind, caring, amazing' Suffolk dad who was killed when his car hit another on the A144 at Halesworth.
Twenty-eight-year-old Ben Doughty was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which saw the blue Audi RS4 in which he was travelling alone collide with a white Kia Cee'd at around 9.40pm on Sunday.
Ben, from Holton, has been described by his family as an 'amazing friend, father and boyfriend'.
In a statement, they said: "He was hard-working and an exceptional provider. He was generous and loved by many people."
Police, fire and ambulance crews, as well as the air ambulance, attended the scene of the crash.
A woman and man, who were travelling in the Kia Cee'd, were assessed at hospital and were later discharged with minor injuries.
Police have asked any witnesses who were in the area at the time of the crash to call 101 quoting CAD 349 of August 15.
