Suffolk Police investigating crimes in Beccles, Lowestoft and Ipswich which have gone under the radar




From garage burglaries to stolen e-scooters, here’s a list of crimes happening in Suffolk that have gone under the radar this month.

SuffolkNews has compiled a list of January crimes police are investigating in Beccles, Lowestoft and Ipswich.

A garage in Fair Close, Beccles, was forced open between Tuesday, January 16 and Friday, January 19.

Several frozen food items were stolen from a chest freezer. If you have any information on the burglary, you can quote crime reference 37/3537/24.

A fence panel and rear gate were damaged at a home in High Beech, Lowestoft, between 8am on Thursday, January 18 and Sunday, January 21.

If you noticed any unusual behaviour or have information on the incident, the crime reference is 37/3806/24.

An e-scooter was stolen near North Quay Retail Park, in Lowestoft, at around 4pm on Sunday.

A dark grey Xiaomi e-scooter was insecurely left at a bike rack and was taken within an hour.

Police are also investigating a wallet being stolen from a car parked in Robeck Road, Ipswich, on Friday, January 19.

Those involved smashed the car’s window at around 3.35am. The wallet was later found a short distance from the car.
