At Westwood Primary School we have a clear vision and determination to ensure all children are in receipt of high quality teaching and learning, make good progress and achieve true potential.
Westwood Primary School works in partnership with Grove Primary School. Westwood Primary School is led by Executive Headteacher, Mrs Rae Aldous and Head of School, Mrs Lauraine Barnes (pictured). Additionally, there are other leadership, teaching and support staff shared roles across the two schools. Together, the schools strive for excellence, have a relentless drive for school improvement and benefit from the shared ethos and working practices.
Both schools offer a high quality education to all children. Our aim is to provide a caring, nurturing, stimulating, exciting and safe learning environment. We strongly value the importance of parents/carers and look forward to working in partnership with you.

THANK YOU Clays Ltd recently donated 94 brand new books for our school library - our Reading Champions helped to stamp them and put them on the right shelves for everyone to enjoy! Thank you so much for this incredibly kind donation; developing a love of reading is a key part of our school curriculum and these books will certainly help with that!
