Springlands Way in Sudbury reopens after huge van fire

A Sudbury road was blocked this morning after a van caught fire.

Emergency services were called to the A134 Springlands Way at around 8.45am after reports the vehicle was well alight.

Footage from the scene shows smoke billowing into the sky.

The man in the vehicle managed to escape.

One appliance from Sudbury Fire Station was called to the scene at 8.41am.

A stop time was called at 9.11am.
