Fire crews called to Southwold Harbour after boat catches alight

Fire crews were called to tackle a blaze in Southwold this morning.
Firefighters from Lowestoft South, Halesworth and Southwold were called to the harbour at 11.40am to reports of smoke coming from a boat.
After discussing the best way to gain access to the vessel with the harbour master, crews were able to board the boat and tackle the blaze.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Fire & Rescue confirmed that the blaze has now been put out, with a stop time called at 1.29pm.
