Ipswich medical emergency at Sainsbury’s in Hadleigh Road sees man taken to hospital




A man has been airlifted to hospital after a medical emergency at an Ipswich supermarket yesterday.

Police and ambulance were called to Sainsbury’s, in Hadleigh Road, at 2.47pm.

A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: “We sent Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, two ambulances and an ambulance officer vehicle.

“One man was taken to Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital by air ambulance.”
