Emergency services battle ‘well alight’ tractor fire in Rede Lane, Claydon, near Ipswich

Firefighters are battling a ‘well alight’ tractor fire in a Suffolk village.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue was alerted to the incident in Rede Lane, Claydon, near Ipswich, just before 2pm.

Three crews from Ipswich East, Princes Street and Needham Market are using breathing equipment and two hose reel jets to tackle the blaze.

Police officers have also been called by the fire service to install a road closure.

There are no reported injuries.
