Body of man in 30s found in Great Blakenham, near Ipswich

The body of a man in his 30s has been found in a village near Ipswich.

Police were called to the Aspen Close area in Great Blakenham, at about 6.22am, on Friday, March 24.

A man was found at the scene, who was confirmed dead shortly before 7am.

His death was not noted as suspicious, a spokesperson for Suffolk Police said.

He was said to be in his late 30s.

A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service, said: "A GoodSam first responder, two ambulances and two ambulance officer vehicles were called to Aspen Close following reports of a man not breathing in a public place.

"Sadly, despite the best efforts of all in attendance, the man died at the scene."
