Body discovered in River Gipping in Ipswich in search for missing Julian De Bono

Police searching for missing Ipswich man Julian De Bono have discovered a body.

The body was found by underwater search teams in the River Gipping in Ipswich.

They made the discovery just after 3pm today.

While the body hasn’t yet been formally identified, Julian’s have been informed.

A post-mortem will be carried out to establish the cause of death which is being treated as unexplained.

The 63-year-old was last seen in Yarmouth Road at around 1.45am on Sunday heading towards London Road.
