Body found in Weybread in search for missing Harleston man Thomas Hamburger

A body has been found in the search for a missing 41-year-old man who was last seen in Suffolk.

Norfolk Police had been searching the Weybread area, alongside colleagues from the fire service and Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue, when a body was found shortly before 6.30pm.

While formal identification is yet to take place, the family of Thomas Hamburger, who was reported missing from Harleston on Friday, has been informed.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.

A file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
