Woman dies after police, paramedics and fire service called to 'medical emergency' in Ingham
A woman has died after multiple emergency services were called to a medical incident in a village near Bury St Edmunds this morning.
Police, paramedics and the fire service were alerted to the incident, in The Street, Ingham.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said two ambulances and the East Anglian Air Ambulance attended a 'medical emergency' just before 7.15am.
He said: "Sadly, despite the efforts of paramedics, a female patient died at the scene."
A Suffolk Police spokesman said they were called at 8.15am to support the ambulance service.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service attended at 8.11am, with a stop time of 8.41am.
A spokesman said crews helped the ambulance service remove a person from the first floor of a property, in The Street.
