Bin lorry catches fire in Orchard Close, Rougham, near Bury St Edmunds

A bin lorry caught fire in a village this morning.

It happened opposite the Post Office in Orchard Close, Rougham, near Bury St Edmunds, at around 8.30am.

Two engines were dispatched to the scene.

The blaze was contained within the lorry and quickly extinguished.

It is not known what caused the fire. No injuries were reported.

A stop on the incident was issued at 9.23am.
